Coming up.....

Saturday, August 23 - NWVC's VWs @ the Movies, Field of Scenes Drive-In, Freedom.
The movies playing that night are Journey to the Center of the Earth (PG) and The Dark Knight (PG-13). Meet in the gravel parking lot in front of the outdoor theatre by 6:00 pm. We will drive in as a group so we can park together. Click here to visit the Field of Scenes website.

Sunday, August 24 - Greenville Homecoming Parade and Cornroast in the Park.
Interested in participating in the parade? Contact Patti. They will also have music, burgers, brats, bingo, bike give-away for kids that viewed the parade (kids get a special ticket to be filled out and turned in to win one of 200+ bikes). Here's a Link to Town of Greenville website.

Weekend of September 13 - Fall Campout at Kevin and Challa's, New London (Bean City Road).

Saturday, August 2 - NWVC's Fox Valley All VW Show, Van Dyn Hoven Imports, Appleton.
We had a great day for our annual show and a nice variety of VWs. Pictures will be posted soon.

Sheboygan Volkswagen Club's Show on July 12.

A couple of our club members brought home trophies from the Sheboygan Volkswagen Club's show on July 12 in Sheboygan. Congratulations!


Jackie and Nate. Nate won a second place trophy for his 1965 Ghia.


Paul won a first place trophy for his 1976 Westfalia Bus.

Greenville Parade Pics - August 26, 2007

There were 3 Bugs representing our club; Bill and Patti's Great Pumpkin, Marty's and Carol's. Next year maybe we could get a Bus, Ghia, or Thing, etc. to join in.

The Corn Roast down in the Park was also Great.
Along with the 200+ bikes they give away each year to the kids.

Marty's comment on the parade:
I heard while driving mine ...that ones got a surf board!!! and
herbies going surfing!!! lol... kids rock!

NWVC Club Resource List
The NWVC has put together a resource list for club members. It lists members who are available to help in case of emergencies, have VW based services (engine work, body work, paint, etc.), have experience with certain models of VWs, parts (new or used), VW technical information, reference books, etc. This list is only for NWVC club members use and is just one of the benefits of becoming a NWVC members. It is located in the "Members Only" area of the website. If you are a member and would like to sign up to be included on the list complete the sign up form.
